“It is rundown. They do not tell you anything about Mayan culture. They advertise a cenote. They have a fake cement pool that’s supposed to resemble a cenote. Definitely wasn’t gonna swim in there. They were all about selling $245 tequila, $15 chocolate bars and honey. As if I would buy tequila or chocolate at that price from the place as rundown as that. Who knows how long those chocolate bars have been sitting there or who even make them, I seriously may ask for my money back. It seemed disorganized and just about selling stuff.”

Our driver was courteous and helpful and actually advised us not to go to a lunch place I chose in advance. She was correct it really wasn’t for the kids. It was great if we were alone but not large enough for seating with a family. She chose a wonderful scenic beachfront restaurant with delicious tacos pizza and ceviche and shrimp that were luscious.
