Advised the tour operator of our food allergies and dietary restrictions in advance and they kept reassuring us that they can accommodate but on the tour the restaurant was out of most of the options like rice, guacamole etc any not other options are available.…”

They now take you to a different spot where you only get 1 plate of fajita lunch (not even close to carne asada tacos) with ONLY 1 drink and you have to pay for anything else. There was no chocolate paste making/snack (after complaining, our tour guide was able to take us to a place he knew to complete this). “Pedro was a good guide but didn’t give us the full experience. He took us to places where he had friends. The Mayan ruins weren’t much. There was a lot of walking in between places. And the ruins were quite small. The private beach was just a tiny little area and they didn’t have Wi-Fi. There were additional costs that we didn’t plan on.”
