Private Cozumel tour mixing beaches, a Rancho Alejandra tequila tasting, El Cedral Mayan ruins area, and a cenote swim plus picnic lunch.

“Not much to see in terms of Mayan ruins on this Island. The tour stops do include nice facilities for bathroom or washing up after a beach stop though the beach was beautiful. The tequila museum is more like a sales shop not an active farm or distillery. The vehicle is a taxi. The tour guide was nice but soft spoken and not super engaging. Advised the tour operator of our food allergies and dietary restrictions in advance and they kept reassuring us that they can accommodate but on the tour the restaurant was out of most of the options like rice, guacamole etc any not other options are available.…”

“We booked the Private Half-Day Cultural Tour to the Mayan Ruins and Cenote in Cozumel, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Greg, was phenomenal — incredibly knowledgeable, warm, funny, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. He explained the Mayan ruins in such an engaging and meaningful way, weaving in stories, traditions, and fascinating details we never would have learned on our own. It felt personal, authentic, and not rushed at all. The cenote portion of the tour was absolutely magical — peaceful, refreshing, and breathtakingly beautiful. Greg made sure we felt safe and comfortable the entire time,…”

“Our guide Sergio made this excursion a great family experience!! He made sure our adventure included all that was advertised and even made time for shopping time. His knowledge of the Mayan ruins and culture was impressive. The beach time was curtailed by riptide conditions, but the food was great!! Ocho village represented the culture well with the flour tortillas demo and chocolate samples. Tequila tasting was a delight!! There is encouragement to buy product. We recommend this fun activity for anyone with time in Cozumel!!!”

“This was a great excursion, off the beaten path. Carlos was able to give us lots of history and facts about Cozumel and answered all of our questions. He took us to the Mayan Cultural center where we were treated like ‘familia’. We had a private demonstration of native Mayan dance and got to taste tequila, honey & chocolate. Plus some yummy pork taquitos! Then he took us around to the east side of the island where we saw beautiful beaches and ate a delicious lunch. We then went off roading to go see a cenote and then spent about an hour at the beach where we were able to…”

“The excursion you do is not the same as shown here and is only about 4 hrs if you're lucky, there is no salsa, fruit, ceviche, Margarita Fiesta or pool. They now take you to a different spot where you only get 1 plate of fajita lunch (not even close to carne asada tacos) with ONLY 1 drink and you have to pay for anything else. There was no chocolate paste making/snack (after complaining, our tour guide was able to take us to a place he knew to complete this). The only thing good about this trip was out tour guide, Israel, who tried to make things right. Waste of…”

“Pedro was a good guide but didn’t give us the full experience. He took us to places where he had friends. The Mayan ruins weren’t much. There was a lot of walking in between places. And the ruins were quite small. The private beach was just a tiny little area and they didn’t have Wi-Fi. There were additional costs that we didn’t plan on.”
