Granted, it did rain which was unusual, but we still could have seen the ruins, the east coast, and possibly snorkel. Our poor guide was given a jeep with the check engine light on the whole time. The visit to the tequila tasting at Rancho Alejandra was fun and informative. The beach at Playa Chen Rio on the south side of the island is a good place to get sun and is very pretty. Pancho provided drinks and water which helped us survive the hot day in more comfort. The only downside was the lunch provided at the Tortuga Beach in which the beef and chicken fajitas were very dry. We told this to the waiter but no apology or replacement was…”

“Jorge (George) was great. Our group could not do much walking so we had to adjust tour and Jorge helped. Tequila tour was boring until I bought $450 worth. National park was boring until purchasing margaritas. Lunch was a surprise because we expected it to be included but had to pay extra. I wish Jorge took us to some more interesting places but because of our lack of mobility it was still good. I would rent my own Jeep and drive myself next time. Should have brought more cash to stop at small places for cocktails on the other side of island.”
